At the beginning of this year, our small group entered a time of reimagining what it truly means to be a church for the rest of us. Every church has a unique calling to live out as they discover a vision for the way they will follow Jesus together. For us at New Journey, our vision is to be a community of faith for "the rest of us," those who often feel uncomfortable in more traditional churches (and for some, even feeling as if they are targeted by some faith communities for ridicule). This time of reimagining has led us to a new way forward for New Journey Church.

On December 1, New Journey begins holding a weekly Team Gathering at Tyler Elementary School in Gainesville on Sundays from 10 - 11 am as we prepare for our launch on April 20, Easter Sunday, 2025.  This Sunday team gathering provides a space for us to come together as we dream of everything this "church for the rest of us" can truly be.  These team gatherings are open to anyone who in interested in being a part of this community of faith.
