It is that time of year again, where many of us make resolutions for the new year. So often this process can be boiled down to adding yet more "to dos" to our already long list of goals, plans, and action items that will make us a (fill in the blank with your choice... better person, kinder human being, more attentive friend or family member, healthier in mind or body, etc. etc. ad nauseam). Instead of focusing on more to dos in 2026, Kevin invites us to resign from some of the positions that we have chosen to hold in our lives that are leaving us drained, disconnected, and defeated. Instead, we will explore a life more rooted in love as we follow Jesus.

Using the backdrop of chapter 10 of the second letter to the Corinthians, we will explore the Apostle Paul's own defense of his ministry in the wake of complaints and accusations that he didn't meet the standards of one group of another. We will compare these words with stories of Jesus's own actions as recorded in the gospels. As we explore these ancient accounts, we will together think about how we can gain insights that will help us in our own lives today that will not only help us to survive the day-to-day challenges of life but thrive with a faith rich in love and purpose.
